The Woodstone® Facade Swift nest box provides an ideal alternative nesting habitat for swifts. Easily mounted on the external surface of a building, they are suitable for both new builds or retrospective fitting where required. Please ensure you have checked the specifications for this large nest box.

The Woodstone® material is extremely hard-wearing and will give many years of maintenance-free service. This facade swift nest box has a sloping roof to deflect rain, with the entrance hole underneath which is helpful as it can deter other species such as starlings and house sparrows from occupation.

Hanging the Woodstone box is straightforward with the hardware provided. First place the Z-hook in the desired location. The nest box can then be placed over the hook and further secured in place using the plug and screw.

Siting:
This box should be installed at least five metres above the ground, ensuring that there is unobstructed access for birds entering and leaving. If possible, boxes should be sited under the shelter of eaves or overhanging roofs.

Supplied with mounting plate, screws and wall plugs.
