When is the best time to feed pond wildlife?

As soon as frogs become active, usually around mid-February depending on the weather. Continue feeding until late autumn or the first frosts arrive.

Why is some of the food sinking?

Ark Wildlife Pond Food is deliberately blended to contain both floating and sinking particles. This allows surface feeders as well as mid-water and bottom feeders to all get a share.

How much food should I use?

This depends on the size of the pond, the number of active amphibians and tadpoles and whether or not fish are present. Begin by feeding 1-2 generous pinches of food twice a day. If the food is consumed within 15-20 minutes, increase the amount used.
