Q: I'm on a pension and can't afford much bird food what do you recommend for me?

A: Cheap bird food can be a false economy, full of low nutrition fillers such as split peas, barley or lentils that simply bulk the food out but don't help birds and mostly end up in a smelly pile on the floor. Choose an economic bird food mix from a reliable specialist supplier and feed the birds only what your budget allows. Giving the birds a little food at dawn each day is much better than a bird table covered in poor quality or old seeds. Ark Classic Bird Food will attract many species of bird to your garden and can be used on the bird table, tube feeders or ground feeders.

Q: Why are there so many black seeds in this bird food mix?

A: The black seeds are high oil variety sunflower seeds, one of the most nutritious seeds available for feeding birds. We pack as many of these seeds in as we can, while maintaining a balance of tonic seeds. We believe that even in our most economic mixes, quality comes first.
