What is it?
The Squirrel Buster is a seed feeder proven to have a completely squirrel chew-proof design that stops squirrels from stealing your bird food. It’s patented with a squirrel blocking shroud and is recognised for its incredible durability and Lifetime guarantee plus LifetimeCare™.

How does it help?
Squirrels can be very crafty when it comes to getting their paws on bird food. The Squirrel Buster uses weight activated control technology to monitor who is able to access the food inside. The feeder supports birds weighing up to 70g and will fully close at 170g, shutting out squirrels or other large birds. It also has a ventilation system to keep seeds fresh.

Specifications

Siting and Positioning:
Remember the squirrel`s weight triggers the closing mechanism, so position the feeder with a clearance of 18 inch (46cm). If a squirrel can reach across from a nearby foothold and avoid putting its weight on the feeder, it will be able to access the seeds. By allowing an 18 inch clearance you force the squirrel to climb onto the feeder itself, which will then trigger the closing mechanism and prevent access to food.

Cleaning:
The feeder is designed to be easily cleaned. All the components can be dismantled by hand, so no need for special tools. Comprehensive instructions of dismantling and assembling the feeder are found in the instruction booklet or by visiting the Brome Website.
