Q: How often should I change the food and water?

A: Fresh food and water should be provided on a daily basis. Hedgehogs are not really into food hygiene and will quite happily scramble over food dishes.

Q: How much food should I offer every night?

A: If you know approximately how many hogs are visiting - we recommend a handful of food, per hog, per night.

Q: Will putting the food in a Hedgehog House encourage hedgehogs to take up residence?

A: Any food you provide for hedgehogs will be attractive to other wildlife which if in the house, will disturb the hog and be likely to result in it finding another home. We recommend putting the food a few feet away from the house to avoid this.
