The BirdCam™ from Wingscapes is a brilliant, easy to set up digital camera for capturing motion activated images and videos in the garden.

How does it help?
With a fast 0.4 second trigger speed, the BirdCam™ captures amazing pictures and video of the birds and wildlife visiting your garden up close so you never miss a moment’s action. Simply add 4 x AA batteries (not included) plus an SD card (not included) to start capturing photos and footage. Easily view those images and video on your mobile, PC or Mac from the SD card. No tools, no wiring and no software required! Thanks to a specially designed focus ring, your images will come out crisp and beautiful.

The BirdCam™ is supplied with an adjustable strap for securing against posts or trees, plus a versatile mounting arm for a range of positions. It has a standard threaded tripod mount embedded into the base of the camera should you wish to use your own tripod.

Q: My feeder hangs outside my window. If I place the camera inside, will the motion-activated sensor still work (sensing through the glass)?

A: The motion sensor is thermally activated and will not work properly in this scenario.

Q: If I put this up by a nest box will the camera flash scare the birds off?

A: The manufacturers have not had any issues with this flash scaring the birds or any other sort of wildlife.

Q: What type of SD cards are supported?

A: Supports only 4GB – 32GB SDHC card and please use Class 10 or Class 10 U1. Do not use high-speed cards, micro/mini cards, SDXC cards, ultra-capacity, or 64 GB or higher cards.
