What is it?
Our Ark Ground and Table Mix is a high quality bird food mix blended specifically for ground feeding birds.

How does it help?
Scatter the nutrient rich food mix on the ground, in ground feeders or on bird tables to attract an array of birds to your garden. The mix contains a mixture of high oil sunflower hearts, peanut granules, cut and micronised oats, and lashings of suet titbits infused with insects.

Q: Why is this food 'Pet Safe'?

A: Raisins may be harmful to some dogs and cats. Ark Wildlife always cares for all of the animals in your garden, including your pets. Many of our feeds have been designed to be nutritionally beneficial to birds whilst also being safe for your pets. For more information read our Are Raisins bad for Dogs and Cats blog.

Q: Will this food grow if it falls to the ground?

A: You are very unlikely to get any growth from dropped seeds with this mix. Very occasionally the sunflower heart may still have the growing nib attached, but generally the birds will have already eaten those tasty seeds up.

Q: Which is the best ground feeding mix to use in Spring?

A: All of the Ark Ground Feeding Mixes are suitable for the breeding season, but we particularly recommend Ark Summer Support Mix. The increased calcium levels found in our seasonal mix are a vital aid for egg-making at this demanding time of year. Available from March to September, the Summer Support Mix can be fed alongside our other feed-mixes or on its own.
